Q. How can you service my car without a ramp?

A. Easy, but we can’t blame you for thinking this. A ramp essentially is only there to make the mechanics job easier. Our mechanics use state of the art air jacks to raise your vehicle safely and to a height where we can get full access to the underneath of it so a complete inspection can be carried out, as well as replacement of parts where required . The only difference is instead of standing up under your car, we lie down. Of course there are exceptions, but these are rare and in these cases, we can advise your best course of action, whether it be us simply referring you to a traditional garage that we ourselves trust.

Q. My boss is concerned about car repairs being carried out on his car park?

A. We’re very safe and very clean! We take health and safety extremely seriously, just like any business needs to nowadays. Cones are often placed around your vehicle to warn of any hazard, normally all we ask is that we have two car parking spaces available instead of one so we can do things like jack your vehicle up and remove wheels etc. without any obstructions. There’s no mess and no fuss with our service from start to finish. If you ask your boss if you can come to work half an hour late and leave half an hour early so you can take your car to a traditional garage, we’re sure he will soon be our biggest fan!

Q. Will there be any mess on my drive / work car park?

A. No. Not a drop. We always work on rubber matts to ensure this but we also provide a guarantee that if there ever was, we would send a professional cleaning company to rectify the issue, although we’re proud to say, this has never happened to date.

Q. Are you and your mechanics insured?

A. Yes. Our mechanics are insured fully comprehensive on your vehicle so that they can carry out road tests, and of course we have full public liability insurance.

Q. My car is between 0 and 3 years old, doesn’t my main dealer have to service it?

A. No. After a law was passed in 2002, you can now choose where and who services your car without in-validating your warranty, as long as genuine parts are used, which of course with us they will be. The main difference here is if our mechanic finds a faulty part during the service of your car, it will quite often be covered under your manufacturer’s warranty, but our mechanic will advise you what to do in this situation, quite often it will require you taking your vehicle back to the main dealer to get it replaced for free.
